Michael Lamey has been dropped from the squad that face N.E.C. in the Philips Stadium tomorrow night. The defender has not been able to shrug off a calf problem. Archie Thompson has been added to the eighteen-man squad. One changeGuus Hiddink conducted his weekly media briefing in the catacombs of the Philips Stadium, following the Friday morning training session. He has made one change to the team that drew 0-0 with Ajax. "Lamey is troubled by a calf muscle. He has not ruptured anything, but he will be ruled out for some time." Hiddink has named an unchanged side. André Ooijer, who has broken a toe, is obviously not available. The good news is that John de Jong has meanwhile joined the first team squad for full training again.WaryHiddink announced that PSV are wary, in spite of the fine run they are having in the Dutch league. "We put in a fine performance, following the elimination from the UCL by Lyon. We earned chances to break the deadlock, but we were also sloppy at times. So we had better not lean back now and think we can kill off games just like that. We are on the right track, but we must not fail in our duties. We have been successful so far because of our willingness to work hard and our strength of will. And we must continue to work hard. That’s why we made our players train sharper than usual today." HalissonHiddink hardly commented on the Brazilian defender Halisson Bruno Melo dos Santos, who joined the squad for training this week. "I think he has been doing fine so far, but we need to observe him for a longer period. We need to have a complete picture, so it was great to have him this week. He will stay here next week as well." Halisson is in the service of Santos in his native country.PSV (from)Goalkeepers: Gomes, ZoetebierDefenders: Addo, Alex, Ball, Lucius, ReizigerMidfielders: Afellay, Aissati, Cocu, Culina, Simons, VäyrynenForwards: Beasley, Farfán, Koné, Vennegoor of Hesselink, Thompson.
