Hans van Breukelen, the former PSV and Netherlands goalkeeper, has conducted the UEFA Cup tournament quarter final and semi final draws in the Evoluon Conference Centre on Friday afternoon. The final will take place in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium on 10 May. Romanian partyAt least one Romanian team will progress to the semi finals. Van Breukelen paired Rapid Bucharest with Steaua Bucharest. Rapid, who knocked out Feyenoord, will first play at home. Middlesbrough, the Premiership side that frequently field the Dutch players Hasselbaink and George Boateng, will travel to Switzerland on 30 March, where they meet FC Basel. The other two quarter finals see Sevilla take on Zenith Sint-Petersburg and Levski Sofia will be up against Schalke 04.The draw was also made for the semi finals. The winner of the Levski-Schalke tie will play hosts to the winner of the Sevilla-Sint-Petersburg encounter. One of the two Romanian teams will entertain the winner of the Basel-Middlesbrough game. And the winner of that semi final clash will play the final, in Eindhoven on 10 May.
