PSV are in England for a five-day training camp and four new signings have also made the trip: Oscar Moens, Jelle de Bock, Manuel da Costa and Carlos Salcido. PSV.nl will introduce them to you this week. Defender Jelle de Bock is next.18-year-old De Bock joined PSV from Club Brugge this summer. The centre back joined the first team squad for full training and was given playing time during the pre-season friendlies. "It was quite a change for me, but I feel I have learnt a lot in a short spell of time. The level of the training sessions is high, in particular now that the players that appeared at the World Cup have returned. It feels like a victory for me that I have been able to adapt quickly and I think I make progress each day." The Belgian feels at home in the squad. "We can get on well together; there are no swellheads. The organisation at PSV is wonderful. I feel fine here and Eindhoven is a nice town." De Bock pays tribute to PSV head coach Ronald Koeman. “He seems completely relaxed. He possesses football know-how and expertise and I learn a lot from him. He has gained much experience and boasts a great record at great clubs.” The defender has made three appearances in pre-season friendlies. “I played the full 90 minutes against the amateurs of Erp. It meant something special to me. They may not have been the toughest of opponents, but I was handed my debut. I was given 30-minutes playing time against Lommel and I was brought on during half time against FC Eindhoven. All in all I am content."De Bock, captain of the Belgian U18 team, did not join the Belgian U-19 squad for the Euro 2006 in Poland, but preferred to continue the pre-season campaign in with PSV. “I am one year younger than the other players. I pick up so many things here at the training sessions and gain a lot of experience here in England as well. I have not regretted my decision for one single minute." He is enjoying the pre-season campaign. "I want to do well at training. Maybe I will be called up for the first team, when there are injuries or suspensions. It feels good to be here."
