Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink enjoyed a dream start with his new club Celtic, when he scored the winning goal in the 66th minute in the 2-1 win over Hibernian. Scottish Premier LeagueVennegoor of Hesselink had hardly put pen to paper on a three-year-deal, when the Celtic park stadium announcer played the familiar tune L’Amour Toujours for the first time. The tune has been played a great many times in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium as well and the tall striker immediately made his presence felt with the Scottish champions. Vennegoor of Hesselink, who was wearing the No 10 shirt, scored the winning goal against Hibernian on 66 minutes. The visitors had taken an early lead, but Zurawski leveled the score on 62 minutes, when Vennegoor of Hesselink had already left the bench. Fourteen minutes after he had been brought on as a substitute, he endeared himself to the Celtic fans by grabbing the winning goal on his debut.Vennegoor joined Celtic last Thursday; he said goodbye to his PSV team mates at De Herdgang training round on Friday and he scored his first Scottish Premier League goal on Saturday. A 57, 000 crowd in Celtic Park watched Vennegoor of Hesselink’s dream debut.
