DaMarcus Beasley joins the English Premier League club Manchester City on a season-long loan deal. 24-year-old Beasley flew to Manchester on Thursday to undergo a medical at the current FA Premier League number 9 team. He got all his paperwork in good order in the evening and is now eligible to play for Manchester City. Beasley, who has two years left on his contract with PSV, has agreed to a one-year deal with an option to buy. He spent two seasons with PSV and won many trophies. He particularly played a vital role in his first season with PSV, when he won the Dutch title as well as the Dutch cup and reached the Champions League semi-final. Beas will meet, among other players, his country fellow Claudio Reyna, former Heerenveen striker Georgios Samaras and Darius Vassell. Beasley, who joined PSV from Chicago Fire, appeared in all three of Team USAs games at the 2006 World Cup.
