The Italian referee Domenica Messina will take charge of next Wednesday night’s Champions League fifth group stage game between Liverpool and PSV. Messina had also been appointed to officiate at the Champions League fixture Arsenal FC-PSV in the 2004-2005 campaign.PSV were beaten 1-0 at Highbury, but they reached the UCL semi-finals all the same. Messina will be assisted at Anfield by fellow countrymen Marcello Ambrosino and Fabio Comito. Massimiliano Saccani is fourth official.
