PSV head coach Ronald Koeman welcomed his players, among whom summer signings Lazovic, Roorda, Zonneveld and Van der Leegte, back to De Herdgang for the first day of pre-season training on Monday, as preparations for the club's 2007-08 campaign got underway. Many fans had gathered and they received the players with loud applause.
Ronald Koeman did not have a full squad at his disposal when PSV started their summer conditioning work. A number of players have been granted an additional rest following their efforts at several tournaments. The PSV first-team squad will do a cross country run in the woodland surroundings of De Herdgang this afternoon. They will also train on Tuesday morning, and do another cross country run at 15:00.
