Just a few players of the PSV first team squad were outside on the pitch of the training ground De Herdgang. The majority of the players stayed indoors on the day after the top clash against Feyenoord (3-3). Gerald Sibon and Csaba Fehér were finishing on target on a cold wintry Monday morning, together with their trainers Fred Rutten and René Eijkelkamp; Edwin Zoetebier was the goalkeeper. Joop Hiele, the goalkeeping coach, was training together with the Australian keeper Nathan Coe. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink was also outside on the pitch for the first time, since he picked up a nasty shoulder injury. He did some light running under the supervision of fitness coach Luc van Agt. Sibon and Fehér were partners in a game of foot-volleyball against their trainers Rutten and Eijkelkamp. The other players were free to do their own exercises this Monday morning. A great many players, among whom Jefferson Farfán and Young-Pyo Lee, remained inside in the gym, but Michael Lamey and Theo Lucius bravely defied the cold and were outside on the pitch for some timeThe squad will take a training session on Tuesday morning at 10.00 o’clock.
