The players warmed up at the PSV sports centre, before they entered the training pitch to start the Thursday morning session. The first team regulars, who played a friendly against VVV-Venlo last night, only did some running and chased the ball during the piggy-in-the-middle passing section.
Ronald Koeman will have a depleted squad at his disposal for the afternoon training session, as several players will be at hospital in Geldrop for the annual medical check-up. Arouna Koné, who is ill, Slobodan Rajkovic, Fagner Conserva Lemos and Jefferson Farfán did not attend this morning's session, which consisted of two parts. The whole squad did running exercises and when last night's starting eleven had gone to the lower pitches, the remaining players enthusiastically did a practise game. PSV will train on Friday morning; tomorrow's afternoon session has been cancelled.
