Holland will play five friendlies as part of their preparations for the 2008 UEFA European championship, including a match against Denmark at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven on 29 May 2008. Marco van Basten's team start their warm-up campaign on 6 February, when they take on Croatia in Rijeka. They will then travel to Vienna on 26 March to meet Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria at the Ernst Happel Stadium, where the Euro final will be played on 29 June.

Holland will also play three friendlies at home ahead of the Euro 2008. They entertain Ukraine at the Rotterdam Kuip on 24 May, before playing host to Denmark at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven five days later. Holland will complete their pre-Euro 2008 campaign on 1 June when they take on Wales, again at the Rotterdam Kuip.
Holland have been drawn against Italy, France and Rumania in Group C at the Euro 2008. The teams that finish first and second in the group will qualify for the quarter finals.
