PSV will travel to Sittard to play a friendly against First Division side Fortuna Sittard on Tuesday 8 January, with a 20:00 kick-off. Sef Vergoossen, who will serve as caretaker coach in Eindhoven for the remainder of the 2007-08 season before Huub Stevens assumes full control, will take charge for the first time.
PSV play host to NAC Breda at the Philips Stadium on Sunday 30 December, the last fixture ahead of the winter break. The squad will then enjoy a one-week holiday, before they report for duty at De Herdgang training centre again on Monday 7 January, to start preparations for the second period of the season, with new caretaker coach Sef Vergoossen at the helm.
The squad will resume training on Monday 7 January at 2pm and one day later they will meet First Division side Fortuna Sittard at the Wagner & Partners Stadium in Sittard.
