After lengthy negotiations and internal deliberations, PSV have reached agreement with Ajax about the immediate transfer of Kenneth Perez to Ajax. The 33-year-old Dane, who joined PSV from Ajax in the summer of 2007, will sign a contract with the Amsterdam outfit that will keep him at the Amsterdam ArenA until 1 July 2009
Kenneth Perez was eager to return to Ajax, where he had already spent one season, and PSV complied with the player's wish, as they want to offer their own young talented players an opportunity to develop their football careers to their full potential in the centre of midfield. Perez joined PSV in the summer of 2007 and made his debut on 25 August, when PSV thrashed N.E.C. 5-0. The attacking midfielder has had spells with Ajax, AZ, MVV and FC Copenhagen before. He scored eight goals for PSV in fourteen league starts and was also on target once in the Champions League.
