Jan Kromkamp is on the verge of making his 250th appearance in Dutch Eredivisie football. Should he take the field against De Graafschap on Saturday night, he will have reached a new milestone as a professional football player. PSV's full right back made 61 appearances for Go Ahead Eagles, 133 for AZ and 56 for PSV. He also played twenty matches during his spells with foreign clubs.
Long awaited comeback
Kromkamp played six Primera Division matches in Villareal colours and made fourteen Premier League appearances for Liverpool. The 28-year-old defender made a long awaited comeback recently after he had completely recovered from a severe knee injury. He made his way back to his right back position and was included in PSV's starting line up to face the PSV reserves, FC Volendam and Liverpool.
