Defender Eric Addo announced after the Thursday afternoon training session in La Manga that he will spend the remainder of the season on loan with Roda JC. Addo will join his new club at the end of January. PSV sent the Ghanaian out on loan to Roda JC once before.
'Not an easy thing to do'
Eric Addo, who is usually all smiles, was quite serious when he explained his reasons for asking PSV officials to send him out on loan. The darling of the terraces told PSV TV why he had decided to join Roda JC on loan. ' I haven't succeeded in securing regular first team football this season. I need to play competitive football to enhance my chances of playing for the Ghana national team. Making the move to Roda was not an easy thing to do, but warming the bench in Eindhoven was not very pleasant. I have decided to make a move to Roda JC, where I hope to get a first-team place. I have always enjoyed being with the lads and I have fun at the training sessions. I've been trying to give my best every time for PSV, and I will continue to do the same for Roda JC once I ply my trade with them.'
