Three wins and one draw
Australia lead Group One in the final round of Asian 2010 World Cup qualifying with 10 points from four games, two ahead of second-placed Japan. Australia coach Pim Verbeek led his team to victories over Qatar (4-0), Bahrain (1-0) and at Uzbekistan (1-0) before they held Japan to a 0-0 draw.
