PSV MEDIA - 24-year-old André Ooijer returns to PSV after having spent three seasons with Blackburn Rovers in England. The defender, who puts pen to paper on a one-year contract, is PSV 's first summer signing. Ooijer has already passed medical tests and will be presented to the press in Eindhoven on Tuesday. He will make his farewell appearance for Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.

Ooijer joins PSV from Rovers as a free agent. The Holland international clinched the Dutch title five times with PSV in the 1998-2006 period. On Sunday, he will make his final appearance for Blackburn, who have secured Premiersip status for next season. Ooijer will be presented as the first PSV signing for the 2009-2010 season. 'It's been a great time at this club for three years. Blackburn are a wonderful family club where I made a lot of friends. But the moment when PSV came in, that's where my heart is. It's time to go home. It feels like coming hoem after I had already spent eight seasons with PSV. I am happy Blackburn are safe and PSV have qualified for European football.
