Ola Toivonen's Sweden Under-21 have reached the semi finals of the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, following a 3-1 win over Serbia in their final Group A match on Tuesday. FC Groningen striker Marcus Berg scored a double for Sweden and his PSV strike partner Ola Toivonen was also on target. Host Sweden U-21 will meet their England counterparts in the semi-final, scheduled on Friday.
Italy-Germany
Italy, Group A winners, face Germany in the other semi-final in Helsingborg, while Sweden take on England, labeled favourites by Marcus Berg, in Gothenburg.
