South Korea have won their first World Cup qualifying game of the final round in the Asian Zone Group by claiming a 2-0 win over Kuwait. PSV player Young-Pyo scored one of the South Korean goals.Dong-Gook Lee gave South Korea the lead on 23 minutes. Lee doubled the advantage nine minutes from final time. Young-Pyo Lee was not the only PSV player on the pitch; his PSV colleague Ji-Sung Park also played the full 90 minutes.Saudi-Arabia and Uzbekistan shared honours (1-1) in another group tie, so that South Korea are now on top of Asian Zone Group 1. Gomes was not called into actioBrazil hammered Hong Kong 1-7 in a friendly. Gomes was called up for the squad, but the 23-year-old PSV keeper did not leave the bench and will return to Eindhoven without having won a cap. Ricardo Oliveira (2x), Lucio, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Ronaldinho and Alex scored the goals for Brazil.
