The UEFA has announced that the 2006 UEFA Cup final will be played in the Eindhoven Philips Stadium. PSV had been put up as candidate to organize the final before.The UEFA Cup final of the 2006/2007 has been awarded to Hampden Park in Glasgow. The hosting rights to the UEFA Champions League final in 2006 have been awarded to the Paris Stade de France. The Athens Olympic Stadium will be the scene of the final of the most prestigious tournament in 2007.
