Alex, Wilfred Bouma, Phillip Cocu and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink are all ruled out for Saturday night’ s game against Vitesse. Youngster Sepp de Roover has been called up for the squad.Due to slight injuries the heart of defence, Alex and Wilfred Bouma, is sidelined. Vennegoor of Hesselink is also absent, just like Phillip Cocu, who is serving a one-match ban. Full right back De Roover is added to the seventeen-man squad. AlexGuus Hiddink was in an optimistic frame of mind during the press briefing at the PSV training ground De Herdgang on Friday afternoon as far as Alex’s appearance against AC Milan is concerned. ”He picked up a knock in the cup tie against Feyenoord .He will need a few days to recover, but I feel optimistic.” André Ooijer and Young-Pyo Lee have also picked up some knocks, but are included in the squad anyway. Hiddink will not reveal his starting line-up until on the match day. Dutch title“I cannot deny that we are focused on Tuesday night’s clash. But we would like to win our Saturday game in order to win the Dutch title.” Hiddink also commented on his trip to Milan last Wednesday night. “Well, we obviously know all their players, but I was really anxious to watch them myself to find out if and where we could possibly hurt them.” Amstel Cup finalHiddink made a tentative suggestion to the representatives of the press. “We might very well play the Amstel Cup final in Eindhoven. It would be a different setting if two teams from the county of Brabant played in the Rotterdam Kuip. I realize that contracts have been signed and all that, but yet I think it would be worthwhile to investigate this.”The PSV – Vitesse encounter will be kicked off at 20:00. The RKC-AZ clash is played in Waalwijk at the same time. The PSV squad for the game against Vitesse:Goalkeepers: Gomes, ZoetebierDefenders: Addo, Bøgelund, Lee, Ooijer, De RooverMidfielders: Afellay, Van Bommel, Lucius, Van der Schaaf, VogelForwards: Beasley, Farfán, Park, Robert and Sibon
