Now that PSV have failed to qualify for the Peace Cup final, the squad will fly back home tomorrow morning. The players will have a few days off and then continue the pre-season training sessions. ReceptionGuus Hiddink thanked the South Koreans for their warm reception, at the post match press conference in the Suwon World Cup Stadium. "I would like to thank the organizational committee, both on behalf of myself and of the squad. It has felt like coming home. I am grateful for this experience. We’ll meet again”, said Hiddink. He added it was a shame PSV were eliminated on goal difference, although they did not suffer any defeat. Straight on arrival at the hotel (22:30 local time) the players had a meal and then it was time to pack their bags. The squad will fly home and arrive in Holland early in the afternoon.
