PSV goalkeeper Gomes will not be included in the starting XI for the league game against RBC Roosendaal. The Brazilian will be rested ahead of the Champions League group stage away against Fenerbahçe next Wednesday. Gomes"Gomes is still facing the same problems he had last week”, explained Hiddink during the customary Friday press briefing. "He will be rested to prevent things from getting worse. He is particularly troubled when he has to intercept long balls." Defender Alex is also ruled out. Hiddink showed his concern when he was asked for the defender’s availability against the Turks. "He is in a rehabilitation process. When you play European football, you must be completely match fit. So it is hard to say whether he will make it for Wednesday. I am not too optimistic, but there is some hope left."Robert stumbled during the Friday training and is troubled by a bad gluteus. Pictures will be taken and then it will be decided whether or not he will be called up for the squad.'No concessions'Guus Hiddink could not tell what team he would field tomorrow night, but he was quite adamant in saying that he did not want to make any concessions as far as the attacking way of playing football is concerned. Hiddink: "In spite of the difficult circumstances we will try to stick to the positions on the pitch as much as possible and we do not intend to move players." Hiddink referred to the possibility of deploying Phillip Cocu or Timmy Simons in the heart of defence. "I have every confidence in the players that will make an appearance tomorrow night. Eric Addo, for example, has proved he is much more mature and stable. He does what he is asked to do and he does it well." Predrag FilipovicGuus Hiddink admitted he is interested in Roda JC defender Predrag Filipovic. The full left back, who has the Belgian nationality, is not regularly included in the starting line-up of the Limburg club. "We have officially reported our interest at Roda JC. They have indicated they need time to think things over. He mostly starts on the bench these days as he plays in too attacking a fashion. We will see after the weekend whether Roda JC are willing to cooperate", explained Hiddink. A loan swap with Osmar Ferreyra is out of the question. "These are mere speculation and rumours." The Argentinian Ferreyra is likely to make his debut in an official game for PSV tomorrow night.Squad for the league game against RBC Roosendaal:Goalkeepers: Zoetebier, Coe.Defenders: Ooijer, Lucius, Ferreyra, Addo, LameyMidfielders: Simons, Cocu, Afellay, Aissati, DufourForwards: Vennegoor of Hesselink, Koné, Beasley, Farfán, Beerens.
