Guus Hiddink has earned his third straight win as coach of Australia. After the double victory over the Solomon Islands, the Socceroos coasted to a convenient 5-0 win over Jamaica in London. Jason CulinaAustralia are preparing for the two play-off games against a fifth-ranked South American nation (either Uruguay, Colombia or Chile) for a spot in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The two legs are scheduled on 12 November and 16 November next.Australia warmed up with a comfortable 5-0 thrashing of Jamaica, who were no proper opponents, but the team of coach Hiddink must be confident following their comprehensive victory. Jason Culina did not open his scoring account, but the latest PSV signing was named ‘Man of the match’. A 6,570 crowd in the Fulham Stadium saw that Australia had a dream start. Only two minutes were on the clock when Marco Bresciano opened the scoring. Archie Thompson doubled the advantage on the half-hour mark. After the break Mark Viduka and John Aloisi made it three and four and Joel Griffiths completed the rout. Guus Hiddink"I am always critical, but I don't have any doubts about the players' commitment. I feel that we have earned a fair win", announced Hiddink after the game. "Jamaica did not field their strongest team, but there are enough positives to take from this game, both in our defence and our attack. The execution might not be 100 per cent perfect, but we have made progress. Small details may be of overriding importance at this level, so I am very demanding and critical."
