PSV are on the eve of an extremely tough week in which they will face formidable opponents like AZ and Ajax in the domestic league and in between AC Milan in San Siro for the third Champions League group game. Spectacular gamePSV will first welcome top-of-the-table AZ tomorrow night. PSV head coach Guus Hiddink announced at the weekly press briefing at De Herdgang training ground on Friday afternoon that he looks upon AZ as 'a fine and stable side'. "They have thrown themselves nicely into the traditional top three clubs. They have made progress. Last season they demonstrated their skills and played excellent football, but now they are also able to convert it into fair results. The ingredients for a spectacular game are all there and it is hard to predict the outcome. We will always try to grab all three points and after the game we can determine whether the win was deserved or not."Scheduling tough fixturesGoalkeeper Gomes and Jefferson Farfán did not attend the Friday morning training session. The two players are not expected to return from South America before Friday afternoon. Hiddink agreed with the views that his AZ colleague Louis van Gaal presented on scheduling tough fixtures in a week in which quite a few players area way on international duty."Top fixtures should not be scheduled in a week in which international games or Champions League are played. Farfán and Gomes return only this afternoon and yet they are expected to go for it tomorrow night", explained the PSV head coach. Lucius and ReizigerTheo Lucius has not been called up for Saturday night’s squad and he is also doubtful for Wednesday. He has not recovered well the past few days and he is not fit to start. Michael Reiziger has received a call-up, but is not likely to be included in the starting XI. "He did well at training this week, but we are very cautious. I don’t think he will make an appearance tomorrow night, unless circumstances demand so", said Hiddink. Afellay picked up a knock during training, but he is set to start.PSV squad for the league game against AZ:Goal: Gomes, Zoetebier.Defenders: Ooijer, Reiziger, Alex, Ferreyra, Addo, Lamey.Midfielders: Simons, Cocu, Culina, Afellay, Aissati.Forwards: Vennegoor of Hesselink, Koné, Beasley, Farfán and Robert.
