Plautz in charge of AC Milan-PSV (PSV.nl)

An old friend will take charge at AC Milan - PSV on Wednesday night: the UEFA have appointed the Austrian Konrad Plautz as referee in the San Siro Stadium. The Austrian was asked to officiate at three previous games in which PSV competed. Three winsThe 41-year old Austrian took charge of three PSV games before and the Eindhoven outfit were victorious in all of them. AC Milan have never played a game under the supervision of Plautz as referee. The Austrian first led a PSV game in 2000, when they Eindhoven team travelled to Dynamo Kiev (0-1). In 2003 he was in charge at PSV - AEK Athens (2-0) and one year later at PSV - Panathinaikos (1-0). Plautz has also been active as referee in European games AZ and Ajax. He started his career as a referee in 1986 and ten later he was awarded his first FIFA badge. He has led out teams unto the pitch for UEFA Champions League ties fourteen times so far. Plautz speaks German and English and was also asked to officiate at the Euro U16 in his native country Austria. &nbsp
