Mika Väyrynen made a comeback on the training pitch today. The midfielder, who made a move from sc Heerenveen to Eindhoven last summer, has been troubled by long term injury woe.ProgressThe 23-year-old Finnish international sustained serious lower leg damage while on international duty with his country in September. Last Tuesday he was given the green light to start his rehabilitation programme and today he was back on the training pitch where he did some running under the supervision of PSV fitness coach Luc van Agt. The midfielder was delighted to be back on the training pitch, although he only did some running. “The grass just feels great!”, announced Väyrynen who was hugely relieved to have made this step in his rehabilitation programme.
