An increasing number of football scarves and candles is being put beside the statue near the main entrance of the Eindhoven Philips Stadium in fond memory of 'Mister Frits'. PSV have put up a fine framed picture and supporters lay flowers.Several bouquets, football scarves, candles and Frits Philips related pictures have been placed near the statue called Sport, which was unveiled in 1951 by Philips President P.F.S. Otten. One supporter has put down the first PSV logo and somebody else put an envelope beside the statue. The statue is left of the main entrance. A bunch of flowers has been placed on the seat in the stand that 'Mister Frits' used to take. PSV Chairman Westerhof will make a short speech from there tonight, ahead of the Fenerbahçe SK tie.
