After the Monday night training session, PSV Media talked to 31-year-old Juninho Pernambucano, the Brazilian midfielder, known for his trademark free kicks. He gave his views on tonights tie and the reunion with PSV. We met Juninho Pernambucano in the Philips Stadium players tunnel on a rainy night, just before the final training was about to begin.Juninho, how do you feel about tomorrow nights game? He looked about and apologized. "Sorry, I have no time, but Ill see you later." And, like he promised, the international player made time to talk to PSV Media later that evening.Do you see the game as an opportunity to take revenge?"I dont start the game with feelings of revenge. The only goal I have set is to make sure of qualification for the quarter finals. It will be a tall task, as PSV are a team that can rise to the occasion. Their players are intelligent football wise and have great tactical skills. They are dangerous from set pieces. If we manage to pull off a fine result in Eindhoven, we will have a chance to make the difference in Lyon." Your dream, to reach the finals, was shattered after the penalty shot out. How did you cope?"It was so cruel. I felt frustrated and angry at the same time. We were knocked out on penalties. I was also disappointed because we were such a strong side. We scored most goals in last seasons Champions League campaign. And when PSV were beaten by Milan in the final stages of the second leg, I realized we had failed to grab our chances."The final is scheduled in the Stade de France. Is that feasible?"It's our dream to be there in May. It would be a tremendous achievement, for the club as well. But it is awfully hard to predict a game of football. You can never say beforehand what the final score is. There is only one place where we have to prove we are the better team and thats on the pitch. But I can tell you we are very motivated."Text: PSV Media/Stijn Slaats
