After the HFC-PSV memorial game, there was a reunion in a hotel in Halle with all the Chemie Halle players of the 1971 team.. Guus Hiddink presented a PSV shirt to all of them during am impressive ceremony. Hiddink emphasized in his speech once again the special character of the game and the whole meeting. Then he presented each former player a shirt with his name and number. Mr Leo van Eeghem and his wife had also made the trip from Eindhoven to attend the ceremony. He was manager of the Tsilveren Seepaerd hotel in 1971. He made a fine speech that earned much applause. The couple had brought presents and Otto Hoffmann was given a huge bunch of flowers. The chairman of the two clubs said a few words and then it was time to sit down at table. Memories were brought back, emotions ran high and it was a very special reunion.
