The Serbia and Montenegro Football Federation have announced that Mateja Kezman is one of five Serbia and Montenegro players that will get less premium pay, because of disappointing team performances at the World Cup 2006. Serbia and Montenegro slipped to defeat in all of their three group games. Mateja Kezman was shown a straight red card, when Serbia & Montenegro were thrashed 0-6 by Argentina in their second group game, for which he has been given a two-match ban, so that he was not available when his country played their third group game. The former PSV striker is not the only player that is punished: Ognjen Koroman, Danijel Ljuboja, Albert Nadj and Zvonimir Vukic will also get less premium pay.It was the last decision taken by FSSCG, the Serbia and Montenegro Football Federation: it has voted to dissolve at a meeting in Belgrade as the nation prepares to be divided into two.
