Jefferson Farfán has told the PSV technical staff this morning that he will stay with PSV, although he had attracted interest from several foreign clubs. The Peruvian recently signed a contract extension; his contract will not expire until the summer of 2010.Farfán has developed into a PSV key player during the past two seasons. His fine performances did not go unnoticed and he was linked with several foreign clubs. Yet the 21-year-old striker has decided to ply his trade with PSV next season as well. Farfán was the leading PSV top scorer last season: he scored 21 goals in the domestic league, two goals in the UEFA Champions League and three in the Dutch Cup tournament.
