André Ooijer and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink have been named in Dutch coach Marc Van Basten's provisional 31-man squad for the friendly against the Irish Republic on 16 August next.Phillip Cocu, who appeared at the World Cup, has retired from international duty. The PSV captain has won 101 caps. The friendly takes place at Lansdown Road in Dublin on Wednesday on 16 August at 20.30. Van Basten will name his definitive squad on Friday 11 August. Mark van Bommel (FC Barcelona) and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who joined Real Madrid this week, have also received a call-up, just like former PSV striker Arjen Robben (Chelsea).
