Tuesday night’s UCL group C encounter between Galatasaray and Bordeaux in Istanbul ended in a 0-0 draw, just like the other group game in Eindhoven. The Turks created the better chances, but they could not make the difference. All teams have now obviously earned one point. PSV will next play away games against Bordeaux and Galatasaray respectively. They are ready for a stern test, as the two teams concede hardly anything at home. The four group C participants did not find the net, but it was raining goals in the other group games. FC Barcelona hammered Levski Sofia, Bayern München saw off Spartak Moscow 4- 0, Olympiakos suffered a 4-2 defeat at home in Athens against Valencia and Roma eased to a 4-0 win over Shaktar in the closing stages.PSV are next in action in two weeks’ time when they meet Bordeaux in France on Wednesday 27 September.
