The UEFA Referees Committee today announced the referees for the eight fixtures which will complete Matchday 3 of the 2006/2007 UEFA Champions League campaign on Wednesday 18 October 2006.Yuri Baskakov will take charge of Galatasaray SK’s clash with PSV in the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. PSV-FC Schalke 04Last season the 42-year-old Russian refereed the Champions League tie PSV-FC Schalke 04 in the Philips Stadium. PSV earned a 1-0 win, thanks to a goal by Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. Baskakov will be assisted in Istanbul on Wednesday night by his fellow countrymen Anton Averianov and Tikhon Kalugin. Vladimir Pettai is fourth official.
