PSV head coach Ronald Koeman has named a nineteen-man squad for Saturday night’s Eredivisie game at the Philips Stadium against RKC Waalwijk. Manuel da Costa, who has a touch of flu, is doubtful, while Kluivert and Reiziger are on the sidelines with injuries.
Midfielder John de Jong is stepping up his rehabilitation process and will play with Young PSV, away against Young FC Groningen on Monday night. “All players are match-fit, apart from Reiziger and Kluivert”, said Koeman during the weekly media briefing at De Herdgang on Friday afternoon. “Yet we have called up a nineteen-man squad just to make sure, because Da Costa has a light touch of flu. Michael Reiziger is not expected to make a comeback shortly. He will train individually for the time being”, said Koeman. The PSV coach is bound to make some changes to the side that suffered a 3-0 defeat against NAC Breda, with Cocu, Simons and Koné returning to the starting eleven.
