At the draw for the Champions league quarter finals in Athens, host city of the final, PSV have been paired with Liverpool, the only team they would rather have avoided meeting, as they already met Rafa Benitez’s team during the group stages. PSV will first play host to Liverpool at the Philips Stadium.
The draw was also made for the semi-final. PSV will play Chelsea or Valencia if they beat Liverpool. "A slightly disappointing draw", was Ronald Koeman’s first reaction.
