With a great many PSV players jetting off around the globe to represent their countries and some others sidelined with injuries, there is less activity at De Herdgang training ground this week than usual. Most players that are not away on international duty were in the gym this morning and just a few were outside on the training pitch.
Apart from Alex, who is rehabilitating in his native country, Gomes as well as Diego Tardelli have also returned to Brazil to see their wives who are both heavily pregnant. Not all internationals have left Eindhoven yet. Eric Addo and Edison Mendez will join up with their team mates of Ghana and Ecuador, respectively, next Thursday. Jan Kromkamp and John de Jong were on the pitch, where they resumed running. The players that are in still in Eindhoven will enjoy a day off on Wednesday but will train on Thursday. PSV will be next in action on Saturday 31 March, when they take on NAC Breda in Breda, with kick-off at 19:30.
