A party of PSV players and officials was invited to pay a visit to the fortified enclosure of the Kremlin, the symbol of both Russian and Soviet power and authority, on Saturday afternoon. The party was treated to an impressive behind the scenes 90 minute-tour along beautiful halls and rooms in one of the palaces of president Putin.

Putin does not work or live here, but the palace where the party of PSV players and officials PSV was shown around, serves as a place to receive foreign guests and hold official receptions and parties. The PSV delegation was subdivided into an English and Spanish speaking group and was shown the gorgeous halls and rooms where the Czars used to live and receive their honoured guests. The players and coaching staff were hugely impressed by the luxury, and pomp and circumstance.
The players did not visit the Red Square or the famous Saint Basil's Cathedral with the fantastic shapes and colors of its domes and the Lenin mausoleum. The square, however, is within walking distance of the hotel, so just a short walk will suffice to go the city centre.
