PSV will hand starts to Manuel da Costa and Jason Culina when they play hosts to CSKA Moscow in the opening Group G encounter.

Alcides is played in defence, at the expense of Jan Kromkamp, who starts on the bench. PSV head coach Ronald Koeman keeps faith with Danny Koevermans, whose goal against Vitesse was enough to give PSV a 1-0 victory last Saturday. Koevermans makes his Champions League debut tonight. He will start up front alongside Danko Lazovic, who is also handed his first start in the Champions League.
Koeman has made four changes to the team that beat Vitesse. Perez and Kromkamp start on the bench, while Bakkal is injured and Zonneveld serves his first game of a two-match ban. Méndez, Alcides, Culina and Da Costa, respectively, take their places. Da Costa retunes to the heart of defence, partnering Addo, while Salcido operates as left back and Alcides plays at right back. Jefferson Farfán starts on the bench and youngster Fagner has been dropped from the squad.
PSV starting line-up:
Gomes, Alcides, Da Costa, Addo, Salcido, Simons, Culina, Méndez, Afellay, Koevermans and Lazovic.
Substitutes: Roorda, Kromkamp, Van der Leegte, Aissati, Perez, Jonathan and Farfán.
