On 21 December, several Latin American players in the service of PSV were given their first real taste of snow and winter in Holland. Carlos Salcido and the young Brazilians Cássio Ramos, Jonathan and Fagner trained on a snow-covered pitch for the first time in their lives. Winter has definitely set in and it resulted into to some lovely scenes.
With the winter solstice marking the shortest day and the longest night of the year, De Herdgang training ground and the snow-clad trees in the woodland surroundings in particular presented wonderful scenery. The PSV squad prepared themselves for Sunday's clash with FC Utrecht. The players looked relaxed when they played some piggy-in-the middle games. Training in the heart of a wintry landscape provided a new experience to the South American PSV players. It was the first time that Cássio Ramos, Jonathan, Fagner and Carlos Salcido as well trained in these wintry circumstances.
