Hundreds of fans had come to De Herdgang training centre to watch the squad train. It was the last training session but one in 2007, ahead of Sunday afternoon's Eredivisie encounter against NAC Breda at the Philips Stadium, kicking off at 14: 30. The squad will also train on Saturday ahead of the final Eredivisie match before the winter break.
After the players had enjoyed a day off after the FC Groningen game on Boxing Day, it was business as usual for Jan Wouters and his men on Friday. The squad trained hard to prepare for Sunday's clash with NAC Breda, looking to bounce back from two defeats in three games. Wouters will be in charge as caretaker manager for the last time on Sunday; he will be replaced by Sef Vergoossen in January.
