Carlos Salcido was the last PSV player to report back for training after the winter break. On Thursday afternoon, the defender arrived in Genk in Belgium where PSV organise a short training camp. The Mexican could not return from his native country in Central America earlier, as he had not obtained the necessary documents.
Salcido and his family arrived at Schiphol Airport early in the afternoon after a long flight and then went to Belgium. The 27-year-old defender arrived in Genk, just when the squad were about to begin the second training session of the day. Salcido, who will join the squad for full training on Thursday, claims he is fully fit and is keen to head into another busy period of fixtures. Feyenoord play host to Sef Vergoossen's team at the Rotterdam Kuip on Saturday night. PSV beat Fortuna Sittard 2-0 in a friendly last night.
