PSV face Feyenoord at the Rotterdam Kuip on Saturday night in a top of the table clash. New head coach Sef Vergoossen wants to try out a few things at training and prepare his team thoroughly for the crucial Eredivisie game and that's why he decided PSV will train behind closed doors at De Herdgang training complex on Friday morning.
PSV face a hectic schedule the next four weeks. They face serious tests when they travel to Feyenoord, VVV Venlo, Ajax as well as AZ and play hosts to Excelsior and Sparta Rotterdam. The league match against Ajax at the Amsterdam ArenA, scheduled for Sunday 16 December 2007, was cancelled because of a police strike. PSV will now take on Ajax on Wednesday 30 January.
PSV will have a light training on Sunday morning. They players have the Monday off and resume training on Tuesday 15 January.
