Ghana earned a 1-0 win over Namibia in their second Africa Cup Group A game in Accra on Thursday night. Five minutes before half time, Agogo scored the winning goal for Ghana, who had included PSV defender Eric Addo in their starting line-up. Ghana, who host the tournament, have won both of their group games, boosting their chance of qualifying for the next stage of the Africa Cup.

Ghana had most possession of the ball and created the best chances, but Namibia, who were thrashed 5-1 by Morocco in their first group stage game, had some opportunities to snatch an equaliser. Ghana are on top of their group with six points. Morocco and Guinea have collected three points and Namibia have no chance of progressing to the next stage, following two defeats. The final group games are scheduled for Monday, when Ghana take on Morocco.
