The PSV first team squad had been given the Sunday and Monday off, but reported back for training at De Herdgang on Tuesday morning. They will defend a first-leg 2-0 lead when they take on Helsingborgs IF in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 return leg on Thursday night.
Sef Vergoossen has no selection worries. The PSV head coach had his entire squad at his disposal at the Tuesday morning training session. Cássio Ramos, Género Zeefuik, Jonathan Reis, Ismail Aissati, Rens van Eijden and Tommie van der Leegte, who made an appearance for Young PSV on Monday night, went through the motions and first-team regular Ibrahim Afellay was not involved in all exercises. On Wednesday, the PSV squad will fly from Eindhoven Airport to Helsingborg, where they will inspect the pitch of the Olympia Stadium during a final training ahead of the UEFA Cup tie at 18:30. Thursday's game gets underway at 20:45.
