Stéphane Lannoy has been appointed to referee the UEFA Cup Round of 16 first leg between Tottenham Hotspur and PSV. The French referee has never taken charge of a PSV game before, but acted as fourth official on 3 April when PSV suffered a 3-0 defeat against Liverpool in a Champions League quarter final tie.
The 38-year-old oversaw Ajax's UEFA Cup victory at Dinamo Zagreb. Lannoy took charge of Holland U-21 v Belgium U-21 at the UEFA European U-21 championship in Holland last year.
