A scan taken at the Shaikh Khalifa Medical Center in Abu Dhabi revealed that Ibrahim Afellay has broken a toe on his left foot during the Monday morning training session.Guided by an Al Jazira doctor and PSV doctor Cees-Rein van den Hoogenband, Afellay was taken to hospital. It was a heavy blow when the youngster heard he had broken his toe. Afellay will now have tailor-made training sessions and will consequently stay in Abu Dhabi all the same Phillip Cocu, who felt ill the past few days, has been outside on the training pitch to do some work once again. The international midfielder was ill on arrival in Abu Dhabi and stayed in bed. Cocu is expected to gradually intensify his training schedule.The PSV squad will only train in the morning on Tuesday. The players will have the Tuesday afternoon off. Two training sessions are scheduled on Wednesday as well as on Thursday.
