New PSV head coach Huub Stevens was in charge for the first time when the PSV first-team squad started their pre-season training programme at De Herdgang training facilities on Monday 14 July. As always, many PSV fans had turned up to see the players in action at the first training session.
Many new signings
Huub Stevens had a full squad at his disposal when PSV started their summer conditioning work. Summer signings Nordin Amrabat, Jérémie Bréchet, Andreas Isaksson, Reimond Manco, Erik Pieters and Francisco ´Maza´ Rodriguez joined their new team mates for the first time and there were some new faces on the coaching staff as well. Apart from the assistant coaches Jan Wouters and Dwight Lodeweges and fitness coach Luc van Agt, Hans Segers and Anton Scheutjens, added to the coaching staff, took care as goalkeeping coaches.
