The Dutch Olympic team will meet Belgium, who have also qualified for the Olympic games, for a friendly in Genk on Wednesday. Marcellis, Bakkal and Pieters and their team mates, including the former PSV players Gerald Sibon and Roy Beerens, are staying in familiar surroundings: at the country estate De Rosep in Oisterwijk. On Saturday 26 July, the Olympic team will head to Hongkong, where they take part in the ING Cup tournament, from 26 July until 3 August as their final preparations for the Beijing Olympic Games.
