In spite of the gloomy weather, many fans and holidaymakers had again come to De Herdgang training facilities on Tuesday morning to attend PSV's training session. Huub Stevens's team are preparing for their third pre-season game of the summer.
PSV take on VVV-Venlo on Wednesday
Physiotherapist Cees van der Linden took charge of a number of players who have picked up minor injuries, while goalkeeper Bas Roorda trained separately. The emphasis so far has been on fitness, but this morning the first-team squad played, among other things, a practise game, with Cássio Ramos and Andreas Isaksson between the posts. PSV will train again at 3.30pm to prepare for Wednesday's game at VVV-Venlo to contest the Herman Teeuwen Memorial trophy.
